I live in Pittsburgh but love your style, do you travel?

You can expect to view your images within 2 weeks of your session.This takes place in Amanda's viewing gallery. At that time you will place your order. Please note images will not be ordered until the full balance is paid. Your images should arrive within 2-3 weeks after payment is met. Amanda purges images once monthly. Every effort is made to archive your images for a period of one year. Amanda does not make guarantees on this issue.

The session has been shot. What happens next?

No Sunday Best, no khakis and white polos. Why wear anything else besides what you would normally where out to dinner. No one has to match perfectly. I love graphic tees on the little ones and bucket hats. Fresh babies are best photographed in bare skin and may we also say the first 12 days of life. Girls are great in pillowcase dresses and fun prints.Family portraits should have a consistent feel of colors and limited patterns. For seniors, do not showcase a brand instead focus on you. Please do not arrive with all of your outfits having logos across the chest.

Portraits are a big occasion for us. Should I go shopping and what would you recommend?

Weather happens. However location is the style of the photographer and rescheduling is never a problem.

What if it rains?

On location merely means you will not find any tie died backdrops or white columns with styrofoam numbers. Amanda works with natural light on location outdoors or in the clients home. Lots of clients wonder about the decor of their own home and weather it will be appropriate. Amanda focus' on the subjects in the images and background usually goes unnoticed.

You are an on location photographer. What does that mean?

We recommend that you book your session as soon as you know Amanda is the right photographer for you. During peak seasons, April through October, Amanda is typically booked 4-6 weeks in advance. She does make every effort to accommodate the needs of each client however we suggest you call at least 3 weeks prior to your desired shoot date.
